Love and Depositions
Love and Depositions is a rock straight play. It takes place in different bathrooms of historical figures in different time periods. We follow Rachel, a teenager trying to find her purpose and place in the world. She travels and watches the people in their bathrooms repeat monologues about their lives. And by the end of the play. Rachel decides what she wants to do and has a rock concert with all the characters in celebration in response to her decision.
Role:
I was in the role of Draper and Stitcher during this production. I was tasked with creating two different types of looks for three different characters. One being a rock concert look and their historical time period look. The twist was that I had to create these looks completely out of bathroom supplies.
To create these rock outfits we used cheap red shower curtains and poly film to create these massive shoulder pieces that gave them an 80’s rock effect

In these photos you’ll see two women. One is supposed to represent a 19th century woman while the other is representing an Egyptian mathematician.
